Scott Harding considers his artwork to be a mirror of himself and his experiences. Scott’s passions for art began at an early age. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree through the Honors Painting Program at Indiana University, Bloomington in 1989. He has studied with some of America’s finest art professors in Florence, Italy; at Caumsett State Park on Long Island; and at the American Academy of Art in Chicago.

Scott is fascinated with the effects of light on the world around us and the emotions those effects evoke in a painting. He is interested in a wide range of subject matter from figure painting to landscapes, from interiors to still lifes. His style is realistic with an impressionistic touch. Scott’s medium of choice is oil; his works also include pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastel and indigo printing.

Every day, Scott seizes the challenge of capturing his view of the world on canvas – a timeless reminder of his passion for life.
